SeekWheelz is a peer-to-peer vehicle rental marketplace operating in Sri Lanka, operated by WondriftLabs. By creating an account or using this platform you agree to the following terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use SeekWheelz. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We may terminate accounts found to be held by persons under 18.
SeekWheelz connects vehicle owners and renters. We are not a vehicle rental company, insurer, or agent of any owner or renter. Any rental agreement is a direct contract between owner and renter. SeekWheelz is not a party to that agreement.
All payments are made directly between owner and renter at pickup. SeekWheelz does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment and is not liable for payment disputes. Never transfer money online to any party claiming to represent SeekWheelz.
Renters must hold a valid driving licence for the class of vehicle being rented. The vehicle must not be operated by any person who does not possess a valid licence. If the renter intends to allow another person to operate the vehicle, a copy of that person's driving licence must be provided to the owner before the vehicle is handed over.
The renter must not sublet, re-rent, lend, lease, or sell the vehicle to any third party under any circumstances. Any such transfer gives the owner the right to immediately recover the vehicle. Any payments made will not be refunded and the renter may be subject to legal action.
If the vehicle is returned before the agreed return date, no refund will be given for the unused rental days. The rental fee covers the agreed period regardless of when the vehicle is returned.
The renter takes full responsibility for any damage caused by reckless or negligent use, and for theft of the vehicle or its parts during the rental period. The renter is responsible for repairing any such damage and returning the vehicle in the condition it was received. If the cost of repairs exceeds the deposit amount, the renter is responsible for paying the difference. The renter is also liable for rental fees accruing during any period the vehicle is held at a workshop for repair.
The renter must monitor the vehicle's condition throughout the rental period. Any reduction in engine oil, faults in brakes, lights, or signals, or any other mechanical issue must be reported to the owner immediately. Damage arising from failure to report and address such issues is the renter's responsibility.
The renter must not alter, modify, or change the original structural appearance or configuration of the vehicle in any way.
The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activity or unlawful purpose. The renter bears full legal responsibility for any consequences arising from prohibited use.
Owners must ensure their vehicle is roadworthy, legally registered, and insured before listing. Standard personal vehicle insurance in Sri Lanka may not cover commercial rental use; owners should confirm their policy with their insurer. Owners are fully responsible for the accuracy of all documents uploaded to the platform.
SeekWheelz displays documents uploaded by users but does not independently verify their authenticity. Each party is solely responsible for verifying the documents of the other before agreeing to a rental.
Do not use SeekWheelz to commit fraud, impersonate others, or upload false documents. Any such activity may be reported to authorities. You are legally responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, upload fraudulent documents, engage in abusive behaviour, or if your account is the subject of a law enforcement request. You may appeal a suspension by emailing support@seekwheelz.com.
Each vehicle listing requires the owner to declare that the vehicle is legally registered in their name (or that they hold written authorisation from the registered owner), currently insured, and roadworthy.
Each rental request requires explicit acceptance that the rental is a direct agreement between renter and owner, and that SeekWheelz is not liable for any disputes arising from the rental.
SeekWheelz is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without liability.
The SeekWheelz platform, software, and branding are owned by WondriftLabs. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display it to operate the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from your use of SeekWheelz are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
These terms were last updated for version v1.1. By continuing to use SeekWheelz after a terms update, you accept the new version.
